Many students across Bangladesh are waiting for news from the National University (NU). The Degree Admission Result 2025 is very important for them. It decides if they get a place in the Degree (Pass) course.
The results for the 2023-2024 academic session have been published in stages. The process started after applications closed last year. Students applied online between June and September 2024. Now, they want to know if they got selected.
National University is the biggest university in Bangladesh. Many colleges are under NU. Thousands of students study in Degree courses every year. Getting admission is a big step for their future education.
NU does not take an admission test for the Degree course. Instead, it looks at students’ SSC and HSC exam results (GPA). Based on these scores, NU makes a merit list.
The NU Degree Admission Result 2025 is usually published in several steps. First, the 1st Merit List comes out. Students on this list get the first chance for admission. If seats remain empty, NU publishes a 2nd Merit List.
There is also a migration process. If a student gets a subject they did not prefer first, they might get a chance to move to a better choice later. This happens automatically if migration is turned on. Students can choose to turn migration off when filling the final admission form.
NU also publishes results for specific quotas, like the freedom fighter quota. Finally, students who are not selected in the merit lists can apply using a Release Slip. There are usually two rounds of Release Slip applications and results. This gives students more chances to get admission into colleges where seats are still available.
For the 2023-2024 session, the 1st Merit list was published around July 2024. The 2nd Merit list was published later, around November 2024. Release slip results followed after that. Students who applied should check their status if they haven’t already.
