NU AMT, KMT, FDT 2nd Year 4th Semester Form Fill-up 2025 Announced

The National University (NU) in Bangladesh has announced the form fill-up schedule for an important examination. This notice is for students in the 2023 B.Sc (Honours) programs. The programs are Apparel Manufacture and Technology (AMT), Knitwear Manufacture and Technology (KMT), and Fashion Design and Technology (FDT). This form fill-up is for the 2nd Year, 4th Semester examination. The entire process will happen online.

Important Dates for Form Fill-up

Students need to complete the form fill-up process within the given dates. Here are the key deadlines:

  • Students Collect Online Form: April 13, 2025, to April 24, 2025
  • College Confirms Online Form: Deadline is April 27, 2025
  • College Pays Fees via Sonali Seba: April 28, 2025, and April 29, 2025

Who Can Fill the Form?

This form fill-up is for specific student groups:

  • Regular Students: Session 2021-2022.
  • Irregular Students: Sessions 2020-2021, 2019-2020, and 2018-2019.
  • Grade Improvement: Students who got ‘C’ or ‘D’ grades in the 2022 exam can retake those papers to improve their grade.
  • Failed or Absent Students: Students who failed (‘F’ grade) or were absent (NA) in 2022 courses can appear for those exams.

Students from other sessions cannot fill out this form.

How to Fill the Form Online (For Students)

Students must follow these steps carefully:

  1. Go to the NU website: ems.nu.ac.bd.
  2. Find the “Form Fill-up” section and click “Apply to online form Fill-up (For Student)”.
  3. Enter your registration number and fill in your details as instructed.
  4. After completing the data entry, print the filled application form. This form will show your subject codes and fees.
  5. Attach two recent passport-size photos (attested by the college principal) to the form.
  6. The printed form has two parts. The principal will sign both. Keep the top part for yourself.
  7. Sign the bottom part and submit it to the designated desk at your college.

If any eligible student’s data is missing online, they or the college should report it immediately within the deadline.

Examination Fees

Students need to pay the following fees:

  • Exam Fee (Per Paper): 500/- Taka (For Regular, Irregular, and Improvement students).
  • Centre Fee: 500/- Taka (This fee stays with the college/centre, not sent to NU).
  • Special Affiliation Fee: 500/- Taka (Only for Improvement/Grade Improvement students).
  • Practical Exam Fee (Per Paper): 500/- Taka (This goes to NU).
  • Practical Centre Fee: 300/- Taka (This also goes to NU).

Important Notes for Students and Colleges

  • Colleges must verify and confirm student data online using the college login on the NU website.
  • In-course marks must be entered for the form fill-up to be confirmed (except for improvement students).
  • Colleges will deposit the fees collected from students to Sonali Bank using the “Sonali Seba” service and a Pay Slip downloaded from the NU website.
  • The exams will follow the syllabus and regulations set by the National University for AMT, KMT, and FDT courses.
