Many students and their families are now busy checking the results. National University has made it easy to find your result. You can check it online or even using your mobile phone. Below, we explain how you can find your Honours 1st Year Result.
How to Find Honours 1st Year Result?
Finding your NU Honours 1st Year result is simple. National University provides two main ways to check: Online through the website and via SMS on your mobile phone.
Method 1: Checking Online
This is the most common way to check your result. You will need your Roll Number or Registration Number and the Examination Year (which should be 2023 for this result).
- Visit the Official Website: Open your internet browser. Go to one of the National University result websites. The main links are:
- results.nu.ac.bd (This is a newer link you can also try)
- Find the Honours Section: On the website, look for the ‘Honours’ option in the menu. Click on it.
- Select Your Year: Choose ‘1st Year’ from the options presented.
- Enter Your Details: You will see fields to enter your information. Carefully type your NU Roll Number or Registration Number. Also, enter the Exam Year, which is ‘2023’.
- Enter Captcha Code: You might see a security code (Captcha) in an image. Type this code correctly into the box provided. This helps ensure you are a human user.
- Click Search: After filling in all details, click the ‘Search Result’ or ‘Submit’ button.
- View Your Result: Your result, possibly with a detailed marksheet, should appear on the screen. You can view it, print it, or save it for later.
Important Note: Sometimes, right after the result is published, the website can be very slow. This is because many students try to check at the same time. If the website doesn’t load, be patient and try again after some time. Results are usually available online from 7:00 PM on the publication date.
Method 2: Checking via SMS
If you don’t have internet access or the website is slow, you can use SMS. This service works with any mobile operator in Bangladesh (like Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, Teletalk). You will need your NU Roll number.
- Open Messaging App: Go to the SMS or Message app on your mobile phone.
- Compose New Message: Start writing a new SMS.
- Type the Message: In the message body, type the following format: NU <space> H1 <space> YourRollNumber Replace ‘YourRegi Number’ with your actual Honours 1st Year Registration Number. For example: If your roll is 123456, type: NU H1 123456
- Send the SMS: Send this message to the number 16222.
- Receive Result: You should receive an SMS reply shortly containing your result (Pass/Fail and possibly GPA). Standard SMS charges may apply.
